Founded in 2013 by brothers Anthony and Daniel de Groot, Tuckbox developed a reputation as a versatile ‘solver of problems’ with a particular edge and eye for design. Together the brothers were able to create sculptural benches, custom shelving units, two furniture collections, beverage trolleys, communal tables and shopfront and display elements for commercial clients.

With Anthony’s shift to a beautiful country setting in the hills outside Melbourne, industrial designer Dan has since spent his time building a close network of likeminded and skilled makers, and is able to source and create all manner of products.

An evolution of direction toward joinery allows Dan to bring together all facets of his problem-solving designer brain: creating beautiful, practical, functional and unique joinery for clients who appreciate materials and quality craftsmanship.
